Spend two days making cakes that are suitable for stacking and carving and create different fillings for all occasions. Join Mark Tilling in making different sponge and fruit cakes that would be great for stacking and shaping; ideal as wedding cakes.
Course tutor: Mark Tilling
The cakes you will make include rich fruit cake, boiled fruit cake, Genoese, Madeira and chocolate cakes. Mark will show you different fillings that would go with the different sponges and will also teach you how to stack cakes. We recommend following this course with Foundation Sugarpaste course.
