If you have some experience in novelty modelling and would like to learn some more advanced techniques, then this is the course for you. This course will count towards your Skill Master Certificate in Modelling Skills.

Hand-modelled figurines are fun to create and can be made to brighten up any celebration cake. In this class you will further develop the basic novelty modelling skills and techniques you have acquired and create characters from Jan's latest book, Squires Kitchen’s Guide to Making Sugar Figures, launched in March 2012. Following on from the immensely popular Squires Kitchen’s Guide to Making Sugar Animals (2011), Making Sugar Figures shows you how to have fun with modelling figures including a yoga student and a snowboarder. Learn how to make these figures and more from Sugar Dough with Jan’s expert guidance and plenty of tips to help you along the way.
