Tessa will teach you all the basic royal icing techniques plus hints and tips on how to make the most of this versatile sugar medium. Start by learning how to make and colour royal icing and adapt the consistency for different techniques.  You will marzipan a round cake in preparation for royal icing and learn how to achieve a smooth and professional royal iced coating.  Tessa will then guide you through various techniques such as run outs, piped borders, drop line work and royal iced flowers. Finally decorate your cake using some or all of the techniques you have learnt. Leave the course with a true sense of achievement for your new found ability.
