    The Bishop’s Table Hotel is AA 3* with two rosettes for their restaurant. The building dates from the early 1700s.

    The Bush Hotel is a former 17th century coaching inn. It is English Tourist Board 4 crown commended which means they are rated by the tourist board themselves, basically the higher the rating the better and more expensive the hotel will be.

  • 1* Hotels offer practical accommodation with a limited range of facilities
and services, but a high standard of cleanliness throughout. Bedrooms will have en-suite or private facilities.
  • 2* Hotels offer good overnight accommodation with more comfortable
bedrooms, better equipped than a * all with en-suite or private
facilities and colour TV. A relatively straightforward range of services, including food and drink and a personal style of service. A restaurant/dining room for breakfast and dinner. All in addition to what is provided with 1* hotel.
  • 3* Hotels offer possibly larger establishments than 1* or 2*, but all offer significantly greater quality and range of facilities and services, and usually more spacious public areas and bedrooms. There will be a more formal style of service with a receptionist on duty and staff responding well to your needs and requests. Normally room service, continental breakfast and a laundry service are available. There is a wide selection of drinks, light lunches and snacks served in a bar or lounge. This is in addition to what is provided with 1* and 2* accommodation.
  • 4* Hotels offer accommodation of superior comfort and quality; all bedrooms come with en-suite bath, fitted overhead shower and WC. The hotels will have spacious and well appointed public areas and will put a strong emphasis on food and drink. Staff will be highly trained and efficient. Room service will be available for all meals and 24 hour drinks, refreshments and snacks as well as a dry cleaning service are also available.   • 5* Hotels are spacious, luxurious establishments offering the highest international quality of accommodation, facilities, services and cuisine. They will have striking accommodation throughout, with a range of extra facilities. All this in addition to what is offered in 1*, 2*, 3* and 4* establishments.
