Farnham, a beautiful Georgian town situated in Surrey, England is where the Squires Kitchen Bakery School started out over 25 years ago.
Students come from all over the world to join us at our school here which is conveniently located 50 minutes from London Waterloo and as well as London Heathrow and Gatwick international airports.
The old English market town with narrow streets and a host of attractions for visitors is lined with some of the finest Georgian architecture in the South of England; it has with a parish church and castle dating back to the 12th Century.
With a wealth of tempting opportunities for escaping to the countryside, shopping, eating out, sightseeing, visiting galleries or just sitting in gardens and flower-filled yards soaking up the enchanting atmosphere, there’ll be plenty to keep you busy if you choose to do an extended course with us.
You will find the Squires Kitchen shop directly opposite Farnham railway station.
In spring 2010, Squires Kitchen’s sugarcraft school relocated to larger premises at The Grange, a beautiful Georgian style building close by. Next door is the new bakery school, a fully equipped room complete with state of the art appliances from Smeg to be opened in September 2010, so you can come to Squires to learn everything from baking a cake to decorating it.
The Bakery and Sugarcraft School are accessible via Broomleaf Road or the black iron gate next to the shop. Detailed directions will be included in your information pack.
