Rosalind Chan

Rosalind is a cutting-edge cake designer and international instructor who is setting new standards in wedding cake design and cake decorating in both Malaysia and Canada. Her classes on cake decorating have gained international recognition whereby she has conducted courses for people from various walks of live, ranging from homemakers and professionals to pastry chefs in countries such as Canada, Japan, China, Singapore and Malaysia.
Rosalind grew up amidst beautifully decorated birthday cakes that her mother, her mentor till today, baked and created. Influenced by this, her interest in baking and decorating began at a very tender age. Her cakes and sugarpaste flowers are known for their captivating meticulous designs and for their unsurpassed creativity and realistic look. A master with the piping bag, Rosalind’s originality in creating her edible masterpieces demand attention due to their uniqueness and leave a lasting impression.
She has been featured in various Canadian and Malaysian media and is a member of solid standing with the British Sugarcraft Guild, the Canadian Society of Sugar Artistry as well as demonstrator at the International Cake Exploration Society in the United States. She has also won numerous cake competition awards and has demonstrated at many local functions in Canada. In 2009, Squires Kitchen (UK) appointed Rosalind as their inaugural international tutor to run and conduct their Professional Cake Decorating Diploma and Professional Wedding Cake Diploma courses in Malaysia and Singapore.
